How You Can Help

You Can Help

Kentucky Refugee Ministries depends on the many employers, volunteers, donors, and sponsors that work with us to make the resettlement experience a success for our clients.

Employers.  Especially during these difficult economic times, KRM is searching for employers who would like to hire refugees. Please click here if you are interested.

Church Sponsors.  KRM counts on local churches, religious organizations, and civic groups to help sponsor a refugee or a refugee family. Sponsoring churches and organizations provide useful assistance to refugees during their first three months in the United States. To find out more about sponsoring a refugee, click here.

Volunteer opportunities range from tutoring clients in ESL, to setting up apartments for new arrivals, to doing practice interviews with people preparing for the citizenship interview. Click here for more information.

Donations are a necessity for our families. We use them to set up their new apartments upon arrival. For more information on how you can give and what items are currently in demand, click here.
