The Karen Burmese KRM is assisting refugees belonging to Burma's Karen ethnic minority. The Karen are coming to the U.S. from Thailand, where they have lived for years in a cluster of refugee camps near the Thai-Burmese border. In 2007 KRM Director Carol Young visited one of these camps, Mae La.
